I Am the Chamber… Valerie Richardson
September 17, 2014
Valerie Richardson has worked at Gadsden State since 1999 and currently serves as the Vice President. Valerie was appointed to the Chamber’s Board of Directors in 2013. As a member of the board, Valerie states, “I wanted to be a part of an organization that cares about its community. The Chamber is always there to serve the needs of the people: the networking, the available resources, the numerous partnerships, co-ops and internships for our students.”
Valerie is also a part of the United of East Central Alabama, the United Way of Etowah County, the Red Cross and the Rotary Club. When asked about the importance of community involvement, Valerie responded with, “Building relationships, that’s how we grow. As we work together, we all play integral parts that come together. This is a win-win for our community. The Chamber strives hard to uphold its mission statement, to coordinate and promote the economic development of Calhoun County. What a great place to be!”
Thank you Valerie for your work in our communities and your dedication to the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce!
