Restaurant Week: Day 7

October 7, 2014

Chick-fil-Achick

Who invented the Chicken Sandwich? Chick-fil-A’s Quintard Mall location is providing iced coffee for FREE with the purchase of any combo meal. So, enjoy the nuggets, strips, sandwich or salad with their famous waffle fries, slaw or fruit bowl. Their milkshakes, chicken minis and brownies are really good too. I’m just saying…

Mata’s Greek Pizza and Grinders

Located along Quintard in Anniston, this is a must for anyone in Calhoun County. This year, they’re expanding the menu! For Restaurant Week, they’re highlighting their new Chicken DSCN0761Alfredo Pizza, packed with moist and well-seasoned grilled chicken, coated in a light Alfredo sauce, garnished with grilled red bell peppers, and topped with the famous Mata’s cheese. It’s delicious and leaves you wanting more. They are also dishing out a kielbasa grinder for restaurant week, along with their signature gyros, Greek salad, and Mata’s Special!

Smallcakes Cupcakery

smallSweet-Teeth unite! This bakery is conveniently located in Oxford, next door to Struts and behind Logan’s, across from the Quintard Mall. I love chocolate, so my favorites include the caramel turtle, German Chocolate, and the Choco-holic. However, the Apple Cobbler is on my list as a must try. Jason is serving up a 6 pack for $15, so stop by for dessert!
