Linda Hearn, Chamber Manager, Celebrates 24 Years

November 26, Linda Hearn celebrated her 24th year of work with the Chamber, where she now Oxford Parade 002serves as manager. In 1990, someone mentioned an opportunity as Membership Director for the Calhoun County Chamber to Linda. While she had only been in the Chamber building one time previously, Linda applied, and after three interviews, she started her work here.

“Over the years, after starting in membership, I worked in other positions, with Program Development and overseeing Leadership Calhoun County, to Tourism and Business Development,” says Linda. With her well-rounded knowledge of the Chamber, it was a natural fit for her to step into the position of Chamber Manager in 2011. In 2014. Linda was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce Association of Alabama, serving alongside Chamber leaders from across the state.

expo 2014 001“At the Chamber, we provide outlets for businesses to come together to benefit our local business environment and our communities. The Chamber has many resource partners and services within our communities that help us provide the services each business needs. Together everyone achieves more. We have a unique opportunity to engage, educate and aid in business growth, setting the tone for our region, and it’s a privilege to continue to serve them,” says Linda.

Linda’s passion and continuous commitment to the community is contagious, and her dedication to the Chamber and its membership is unwavering. Congratulations on 24 years Linda, and we look forward to many years ahead!
