I am the Chamber … Bill Baker
April 24, 2015
For 36 years, Bill Baker worked as a Program Supervisor for the Department of Human Resources and with Piedmont Health Care as Activity Director. For 20 plus years, Bill was involved in Piedmont City politics, and after he retired as Activity Director, he became mayor.
During his career, Bill has enjoyed “making a difference in the lives of families.” From DHR to the City of Piedmont, Bill’s work has involved making the lives of people better and easier.
Each conversation you have with Bill, you can hear his love of Piedmont, from football and sports to floating the creeks and spending time with family.
With the Chamber, Bill advocates for “smaller” municipalities, and hopes the Chamber will continue to help those cities with employment and business opportunities.
Thank you Bill for your leadership in our communities and support of the Chamber!
