12 Days of Chamber
December 17, 2015
On the twelfth day of Christmas my chamber sent to me:
12 Monthly Meetings
People do business with people they know. The Chamber offers monthly opportunities to exchange business cards with potential customers. Mark your schedule for the 1st Thursday of each Month at Business & Biscuits, the 2nd Wednesday of each Month at Lunch & Leads on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Business After Hours.
Eleven Published Publications
The Chamber strives to keep our communities and members informed, from our website, calhounchamber.com, to our relocation and visitors guides, work week, Chamber Magazines, email and mailer newsletters, printed and online membership directories, as well as our Chamber App, Calhoun2Go, and Visit Calhoun County App.
Ten Learning Lessons
The Chamber offers educational webinars and seminars for member business owners, managers, and employees. We partner with other area businesses organizations to offer updated resources and presentations on relevant topics.
Nine Chamber Committees
It’s about people. It’s about ideas. It’s about influence and the Power of Connection. Your business thrives on it. Your future depends on it. Connect with influential people, innovative ideas and exclusive opportunities. Chamber members are as diverse as the county itself.
Eight Member Deals
Take advantage of special discounts and offer discounts for your business through our directories’ Member-to-Member Deals and Hot Deals. Chamber members also receive the opportunity to save on office, cleaning, and breakroom supplies, as well as on copy center needs, through the Office Depot Chamber Advantage Program.
Seven Supportive Sponsors
For increased visibility, members can take advantage of multiple promotional opportunities, including sponsoring annual events. From our Annual Meeting, EXPO and Economic Forum to our Industry and Small Business Month, the Chamber has opportunities for every business.
Six Leaders Leading
With Leadership Calhoun County and Youth Leadership, the chamber’s programs are designed “to prepare and build leadership resources within our entire county” with the class being comprised of leaders and emerging leaders.
Five Ribbon Cuttings
Ribbon Cuttings are a celebration at the Chamber. Recognizing new businesses, the Chamber promotes the event and provides the ribbon and scissors. All members are invited to attend, and a photo of the event will be published in the Chamber’s “Work Week” and social media pages.
Four Coffee Chats
The Chamber encourages member participation in committees, trips and discussions with elected officials, so all can stay informed of legislation affecting our community. Partnering with the Chamber, individuals and businesses unite to build and advocate for the success of our local economy.
Three Work Referrals
The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce is the number one source of information and resources for our local and regional communities, members, and businesses. Daily, we receive calls from visitors and members of the public looking for local businesses, and daily, we refer those to our membership.
Your Chamber sees the talents and resources of Jacksonville State University and Gadsden State. Internships provide students with crucial real work experience and provide employers with highly qualified students. The Chamber partners with internships.com to provide these students and employers a place to connect.
and a list of more opportunities!
The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce Mission is to promote and sustain the economic growth of the Calhoun County Region, resulting in a community that is a dynamic place to work, visit and live.
