“Opportunities don’t happen. You create them.” Chris Grosser

networking“We are the best business tool, providing opportunities to engage, link and grow businesses.” Last year alone, we offered over 100 Chamber events, and this year we plan to do that and more.

How can you give back to the community and businesses? Volunteer, provide input, expertise and insight to fellow businesses and the Chamber. Lend your time and talents and provide direction for the focuses of 2016 and beyond! What do you wish to see? With the many departments and activities, there is something for everyone. DSCN7310Whether it’s education, small business, tourism/marketing, public/governmental affairs, our Salute to Industry, Business Expo or our Ambassador Program, everyone plays a crucial role to ensure we remain relevant and active with our community business issues and needs.
Through your own involvement, we can continue to build and implement programs and initiatives preparing us all for the future. If you know of Young Professionals wishing to become more engaged in the community and Chamber activities, please email the Chamber Staff their contact information to be added to our distribution list for upcoming events and opportunities.DSC00881

Don’t let area businesses and young professionals miss the chance to meet the movers and shakers of Calhoun County and make things happen! Help us set the course for a great future. For more information and to volunteer, call the Chamber at 256-237-3536 or attend Member Orientation on January 19th, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Alabama Power Auditorium.
